DAY 01 DENPASAR/PEMUTERAN– IJEN RESORT

Morning departure from your hotel in Bali. A private car whisks you along the island’s scenic west coast, a slice of the real Bali few tourists see. Stop for photos of some terraced ricefields, rustic villages and surging surf beaches during the two and half hours drive to Gilimanuk Harbor. Short ferry crossing over the strait to Java. Upon arrival proceed to a city tour in the small town of Banyuwangi. End of the afternoon drive to Ijen Resort and Villas your luxurious accommodation, perched at the edge of the rainforest in the foothills of the volcanoes. Overnight in mountain tranquility

DAY 02 IJEN CRATER (B)

After an early wake up call and breakfast, drive you through the rural villages, coffee and clove plantations and then into one of Java’s last rain forest, humidity, wild life, giant ferns and big tress cover the slope of the mountain, to arrive at the Park Rangers station to begin the 90 minutes hike to Ijen Crater, along a shady track with a picturesque views. Watching miners descend into the crater and re-emerge carrying upto 80 kilos of ore on bamboo basket along the treacherous path. Afterward walk down the mountain and drive back to the hotel before departure to Bali.

A health certificate As per 01 January 2025 all visitors are required to bring a health certificate from a doctor because many unhealthy person climbing up and end up having health problems at the top A health certificate from a doctor includes checking pulse, blood pressure, weight and height and this examination can be obtained from doctors in Bali or Banyuwangi. A health certificate can also be brought from Germany and shown there to the duty officer. If guests don't have a health card, they can

get one in Ijen before climbing. There is a health center there. But it would be better to bring it from the country to avoid queuing in Ijen to get it.
