Safari "Selous Wildreservat" (ab/bis Sansibar)

The Selous Game Reserve covers a total area of 54,600 km2 of rolling savannah, lakes, rivers and deltas. The Selous Game Reserve is four times the size of the Serengeti and is home to the largest concentration of elephants in the world. No permanent human settlements are allowed in the reserve to ensure that this World Heritage Site remains unspoilt and that the extraordinary of the extraordinary wildlife that can be found there is preserved. You can expect to see everything from hippos to crocodiles and of course Africa's 'Big 5' - the African elephant, African lion, Cape buffalo, African leopard and black and white rhino. The Selous is a haven for wild dogs and is one of the few places in the world where these creatures can be seen in the wild.

Day 01: Arrival Zanzibar / Stone Town

Welcome on arrival at Zanzibar Airport and transfer to your Stone Town accommodation. You are booked on Bed & Breakfast basis. Overnight: 3* STANDARD OPTION: Jafferji House (Superior Suite) or similar --B 5* PREMIUM OPTION: Zanzibar Serena (Standard Room) or similar --B

Day 02: Zanzibar / Selous

Early breakfast followed by transfer to Zanzibar airport. Scheduled flight to Selous (ETD 08h05, ETA 08h55). On arrival met by camp vehicle and transfer to your camp. Arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon shared activity using camp vehicle. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Overnight at the Camp on full board basis including shared game activities (Game drives in camp vehicle, 1x walking safari or boat ride on river/lake per stay). Overnight: 3* STANDARD OPTION: Rufiji River Camp or similar Ground Package 5* PREMIUM OPTION: Serena Mivumo River Lodge or similar Ground Package

Day 03: Selous

Choice of morning and afternoon shared activities as provided by the camp. Overnight Camp on full board basis including shared game activities (Game drives in camp vehicle, 1x walking safari or boat ride on river/lake per stay). Overnight: 3* STANDARD OPTION: Rufiji River Camp or similar Ground Package 5* PREMIUM OPTION: Serena Mivumo River Lodge or similar Ground Package

Day 04: Selous / Zanzibar

After breakfast transfer to airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar (ETD 10h15. ETA 11h50).

Welcome on arrival and transfer to your Zanzibar Beach Hotel.
